Great news! I'm BACK!
I've finally got another camera. It's a hand-me-down of sorts but I'm thrilled to have it. It's a 7.2 megapixel Casio Exilim. It takes decent pictures and, well, gets the job done.
I've uploaded several new photos. They are all, of course, my pets.
Here's an update on my life:
I'm a thriving 22 year old now. I'm a supervisor at an animal hospital. I've been a technician since I was 16 years old so... 6 years now. I'm working on getting my certification and also trying to learn my way around the business aspect so I can become a manager. I'm currently living with my best friend but only for another month. I'll soon be out on my own for the first time since moving away from my parents at 19 years old. (I've always had a roomie.)
I'm single... Bleh. No need to go further on that subject.
I have 3 wonderful, amazing pets that I couldn't live without! Delilah is turning 4 this year and this month I've celebrated being her owner for 3 years! She's everything I could have ever hoped for in a dog. She goes everywhere with me. Literally! She loves to ride in the car, she gets to go to all sorts of events, and even gets to run around the hospital greeting clients.
I'm sad to report that November of 2007 brought the untimely death of Milo. He suffered from epileptic seizures which caused a severe heart condition. He was 2 1/2 years old when he passed. I miss him to this day but his remains are spread in Sedona and I visit him as often as I can. At my last visit we discovered that a beautiful crane had made his home there and I believe it's Milo's reincarnate soul.
Nico had to find a new home shortly after Milo died. I was living with my best friend in her 1-bedroom apartment with Delilah and her 3 cats and there just wasn't enough room. She decided it would be best for me to move out and since the only place I had to go was my parents (even just short-term) he had to be given up. Fortunately, he went to a great family and last I heard was very happy.
However, I'd LOVE to introduce my new kids.
Henry - 7 month old, black & white, domestic shorthair - I adopted him December 31st, 2008. He was surrended to Maricopa County Animal Care & Control just 2 days before Christmas and I fell in love with him only a week later. After he was neutered he got to come home and he's been a joy ever since. Though, I am still getting used to his mischevious ways. He is so much fun and he reminds me to not take things so seriously.
Ben - 3 year old, gray tabby, domestic shorthair - This handsome boy was abandonded outside of my clinic on January 31st of 2009. The note left with him stated that his owners had moved away and left him behind. I can't imagine how they could have done this but he's my angel and I'm glad they did! He is my Milo just in a different package. He sleeps with me, cuddles with me, yells at me when he wants attention, and has so many other traits that bring the most profound joy to my heart.
I no longer own any horses. Financially I just couldn't afford them. I will get back in the saddle one day.
That's about all there is to update currently. It feels so good to be back!!

Still each time I always meant
Every word, every one
Though in time they finally bent
Every word, every one, every word
Just stopping to say Hello, and what's up?
